Levison Wood has spent the majority of the last ten years in the wild and on the road, travelling in more than a hundred countries. Whether filming a documentary, writing a newspaper article or researching a book he has always been accompanied by his camera. Along his travels, he has built a breath-taking portfolio of photography documenting stunning landscapes and unique cultures. 

Levison released his first photography book ‘Encounters’ in 2020.

Levison has released a special, limited-time print ‘Close Encounter, 2023’ to celebrate the launch of his latest TV series, 'Walking with...' which follows him to Borneo to encounter Orangutans; to Namibia to track down the last remaining Desert Lions; and to East Greenland to get as close as possible to Polar Bears. Each expedition sees Lev meeting - and living with - the people who come face-to-face with these animals in their daily lives.
